There are some really excellent photos this week. I do not envy Dave....

But Kombi, I really have to give you some props for that shot. It looks like the real thing. Spectacular. I'd love to hear what went into making that shot.

Wow! That is really well done. You really paid attention to the details to keep everything from the period you are trying to portray. The only thing I saw that was not from that period is something obscure that gets missed in a lot in these kind of photos. That is, the ear rings... back then, they would be clip on and not pierced.

Geek...welcome to the forum...you are in good company ....and, nice shot!

As a quick FYI. Many post links to their photos outside TDP, such as Flickr. But, if you want to upload directly to the forum, you can. To get the photos to be larger than thumbnails, you can double click the image and then select the size you would like it to appear.

To make you feel better, I do not think I have ever seen anyone's first post of a picture show up as anything other than a small thumbnail that has to be clicked on to see it big. So you are in good company.

It just goes to proving posting images here is not a very intuitive process. Doing it through flickr is easier, and you can limit view-able sizes w/o re-sizing the file... which saves a step (and time).

Kayaker72 and Pat, I appreciate the encouragement! And yes, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to resize the image so that it would post. Sounds like flickr is the way to go.
