    As always it's difficult to decide, but photographing birds is something that I love. Catching a (usable) shot of a bird in motion is even better.

    I must go for "Red Bellied Woodpecker take off", well done Joel such a great shot.

    Great work everybody, I wish I had 1% of the talent displayed here.

    And great job to everyone. That was a tough week. I thought about processing a quick photo to get in on Sunday but looked at the competition and thought I'd save my effort. Several of those shots would be worthy winners.

    Thanks! This one was lucky. Birds are so fast if you wait to push the button until they jump they are gone before the shutter opens.
    This one jumped while I was trying to get a still shot and I hit just right to catch the spread wings before his body moved.
