2016 - Image of the Week #3

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• There will be only one weekly winner.
• This entry period for Week 3 will be from Monday January 11th through/including Sunday January 17th.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

Never easy, but I am going with Sean's "Stars Over the Tybee Island Pier".....the more I looked things over, there were just a number of things that I liked about this shot with Orion looking down on the pier putting it over the top for me.

Awesome! Tough competition as always. Both bird closeups were especially good.

By the way, Orion's belt was the reason I shot on that side of the pier. That's probably my favorite constellation, as it's one of the few I can actually pick out without reference. :-)
