2016 - Image of the Week #8

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• There will be only one weekly winner.
• This entry period for Week 8 will be from Monday February 15th through/including Sunday February 21st.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

One from the other day when it was a bit warmer than it has been of late.

Promise of Spring

Amazing variety of themes this week, and all executed very well indeed.

I am sure that Lily's family is delighted by the portrait, and "Mr. Lonely" draws the eye back for several looks. The St. John's Chamber of Commerce would have good use for the "St. John Trunk Bay Beach."

However, there must be one winner. That is "Promise of Spring." The composition, selection of focus, and attention to lighting are outstanding.
