I can not emphasize how hard you all made selecting finalists. My first cut I wanted 9 shots as finalists, then I got it to 7, then I went back through and it increased as the more I looked as some shots the more I appreciated them. But, a selection had to be made. Below are the 5 finalists for Assignment #80: Blue Hour Photography
The description:
The blue hour is the part of twilight before a sun rises or sets when predominately blue light makes it through the atmosphere. While being somewhat famous for its soft diffused light and color, it has also be used by artists as a "time of confusion and mystery" as the time that is neither night nor day. The topic for this assignment is to use this confusion, mystery, color and famously soft and even light as a key element of your image.
The finalists:
M_Six: Blue Hour at the County Fair
Erno: Golden Gate Bridge with Moon, Fog, and Wind
Neuroanatomist "L'Arc de Triomphe"
CLS "Blue Hour at Burj Khalifa"
Joel Eade "Blue Back Yard"
The poll will be open for 5 days. Good luck to all the finalists.
