2016 - Image of the Week #19

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• There will be only one weekly winner.
• This entry period for Week 19 will be from Monday May 2nd through/including Sunday May 8th.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

"The Old Barn"

This old girl is in her last days. The owner is taking it down board by board. He sold the land to a development company so it is going away. Sad because it is one of the few remaining spots in the area that isn't covered by a strip mall or big chain store. Guess the owner finally had the right price.

Bran isn't a puppy anymore. He's a full grown wild and crazy dog who loves speed. Nothing shows that more than how he navigates tunnels.

As usual, there are very nice submissions this week. I went back and forth several times but I am giving the win to Jayson for "The Old Barn" The combination of a solid uncomplicated composition with such beautiful complex colors is what pushes it over the top for me.
