    Here is one of mine from last year. This was part of some flowers sent last year. Taken with XTi and 100mm macro at f4, iso 100.

    This is one of the photos I wanted a higher shutter speed, but couldn't get my flash to keep up [] It probably doesn't qualify as a 'best' shot, but everything's a work in progress.





    The dust might be a little bit distracting, but if I cleaned it off, it'd probably disturb the droplets.

    Colin, Im a fan! I like them. I love the water droplets but where are they falling to? Whats the red thing at the bottom?


    Dann, as much as I detest anything with 8 legs and 8 eyes to go with, you managed to make it look beautiful.

    the droplets are residual rain suspended on some itsy bitsy spiderweb. We're looking straight down on it, more or less. The orange stuff is a rolled up power extension cord.

    This is an older thread, but I have a question for you macro shooters.


    Do you use a macro rail to do fine adjustments for your shots?


    If so, what do you recommend?


    (I guess that's two questions.....).
