Has anyone checked on Dave?

Yep. No response yet.
I am hoping he does, 'cause I don't want to have to judge, entries are too good.

Ok. As I haven't heard anything back from Dave, I will step in an judge for this week.
Some great entries. For me, I tended to come back to Jerry's waxwing: Great composition, isolation, pose; Mark's granddaughter: Great detail, expression, and how could a parent or grandparent not love that shot?; Joel's Bee: can't help but love the color scheme and detail; Jayson's Underwater High Five: Is very cool and I love the color palette; and, finally, Sean's peacock is a beautiful shot.
So, I seriously starred at all of these for awhile, and this week I could see a number of different judges going a number of different directions.
Personally, I kept coming back to Jayson's "High Five". Love the light, the colors, the little air bubbles, distorted above the water world, and underwater perspective is very unique.
So great shot, and congratulations Jayson!
