    2017 - Image of the Week #50

    Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."


    • There will be only one weekly winner.
    • This entry period for Week 50 will be from Monday December 4th through/including Sunday December 10th.
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.



    This week will be judged by Jayson.

    Another great week of photos. We have two portraits that really caught my eye this week. Joel, that is an awesome shot of a pileated. The detail of that shot is amazing. Jerry, your shot of the couple with the baby grand would make any customer very happy and I really like it. Looking at these two, they both are excellent in their own way. Taking this in mind, I will have to go with the difficulty of getting a pileated shot. Congratulations Joel!

    Thanks....I was lying down on my back looking up at a perch and the suet feeder hanging from a deck rail. I was trying to get a close up of a Downy WP because they are so friendly and are mostly unafraid of me. I did not expect "the big guy" to come around and could not get him in the frame completely from so close....thus the head shot ( Detail is courtesy of the 5D MKIV sensor )
