    2018 - Image of the Week #43

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and, finally, in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

    • The Week 43 entry period will be from Monday, October 22nd through/including Sunday, October 28th.
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by Jonathan Huyer
    .

    Thanks and Good Luck!

I avoided looking at this thread until today, so I could see all the entries at once. I have to say I immediately cracked a big smile when I saw Zach's entry at the top. I love the retro film look of this shot and the amusing subject. However I am going to succumb to my inner bias of home and award the win to Brant, for his take on Crowfoot Mountain. This is a highly photographed locale on the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper, however Brant's shot is quite unique and he obviously went out of his way to find a compelling composition and make it work even better in B&W with a panoramic crop and some motion blur in the clouds. Congrats Brant!
