    Canmore Traffic

I was just finishing a mountain bike ride last night, when I saw this bull elk crossing Main Street a block ahead of me. He was tailing a cow & calf, obviously in an optimistic mood as the rut is getting underway. I managed to pull out my phone and quickly grab this shot as they walked through the local creek.

I jumped ahead in my photos to peruse what I had from the Idaho portion. Part of the reason we did Yellowstone was so that I could visit my family in Idaho the next week. One of my sisters wanted to go camping. This is Gospel Peak in the Gospel-Hump Wilderness area.

Tested out the R6 1.6x mode and RF800mm F11 lens for some moon imaging.

    13 images stack.

Another week with great pictures. Honestly I could have chosen any of them as I like them all. In the end, I kept coming back to Joel's Blue Jay, because I find these birds fascinating, so he gets the nod this week.

Congrats to all of you !

By the way, is it the first R5 victory ?
