    2021 - Image of the Week #19

    Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."


    • Week 19 entry period will be from Monday, May 3rd through/including Sunday, May 9th.
    • Please provide a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.


    This week will be judged by cls.

    Another tricky week to judge…the quantity may not be too high but the quality is. As I see it either of these shots could be the winner, but in the end I fell for the Party Crasher. At a first glance I thought it was a composite, but after a closer look it seems like there were actually four birds in the frame. This is one of the images that trigger my fantasy and makes me think about various captions and/or dialogues that could fit with it. Congrats on the great shot Brant!

    Yep, 4 birds in frame. Three cardinals sitting on the perch, and then the Thrasher came in like a wreaking ball.
