This image is actually taken about 1 year ago from my last northen finland/norway northern lights chasing trip. Desided to test out how much more i can edit it now that i am using dxopureraw on my workflow. Turned out, that the amount of rescuing colors got even bigger to finally have the atmosphere right from the night. Couple weeks and off to a one week trip to norway this year =)

I love DXO, been using it since 2008 or so. I'd have to do a more recent comparison, but DXO has historically had the best IQ for a postproduction software.
Discounting perhaps specialized software that only focus on one thing like advanced sharpening or enlarging. But for just normal images and noise reduction and overall IQ. It's hard to beat.
