2021 - Image of the Week #45

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."

• Week 45 entry period will be from Monday, November 1st through/including Sunday, November 7th.
• Please provide a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

They always say the best camera is the one you have with you. Winner this week is Canmore Sunset. Congratulation Jonathan!

Wow thanks! When we saw the sunset happening, I pedaled my bike furiously to get to the viewpoint on the hill, and I was panting and heaving as I fumbled with the settings. So this shot still took a bit of work! I dialed down the exposure by at least a stop to show the detail in the clouds.

Zach you'll have to come out here sometime, like Brant. He routinely kicks my butt with photos anytime I go out with him. Witness the current October weekly winners!

Congratulations Jonathan! Great shot. And from a cell phone?? Sheesh....

Also, all the kind words...my confidence is at an all time high. I think I'll take you up on your offer to take a few bets on who has the better picture next year.....and that CAD money is so pretty with all those colors and a picture of Claire Foy...it almost doesn't seem real! What could go wrong!!
