    2021 - Image of the Week #48

    Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Forum Image of the Year."


    • Week 48 entry period will be from Monday, November 22nd through/including Sunday, November 28th.
    • Please provide a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.


    This week will be judged by cls.

    Orion

    Finally desided to test the basics. Only my mount, telescope and canon R6. No guiding cameras etc.

    Findin focus is bit a pain but somehow got it there.

    Image is made from 30x 45s ISO800 exposures with 15xdarks also integrated

    Quality is quite far from what i am after but the feeling, that you can actually get this kind of result for starters. I used my sky-watcher mini to control my camera so i didn't need to manually press button =)

    Sky-watcher explorer 150/750 PDS so no lens but telescope.

    Until Kari submitted the Orion image I was debating back and forth between two different kinds of bird shots. But then another image was submitted that took the lead (in my eyes) and stayed on top until the end. This week’s winner is Kari’s Orion image – congrats on a great start Kari!
