Snow squall warning in effect, big winds, lots of clouds, who wouldn't want to sit out on the water's edge for sunset?

Alright, I have a busy Monday ahead, so I'm going to call this one a bit early (which I'm pretty sure I've done before... sorry!) The competition was fierce this week... To anybody who was about to submit right now, just remember that I did you a favor by pushing you out to next week. ;)
Top shot of the week goes to Jonathan's "Vermillion Lakes, Banff". As always, you have some amazing landscapes to share with us. I don't tend to "get" most landscape shots, but I understand yours. They're always fantastic. Thanks for sharing your backyard with us.
Honorable mention to HDNighthawk, for "To Close". While not perfect technically, you did bring us somewhere special. At full size there is some softness, but you know what? I'd be shaking too if I was that close to a bear who was giving me the eye.
Another honorable mention goes to Jamsus for "Pink". Both DOF and exposure can be tricky on small flowers, but it looks like you nailed it.
Congrats Jonathan, well done.
Thanks very much! I have a ridiculously unfair advantage out here, as you can tell. It was great to share this moment with Brant, who I met for the first time in the dark that morning. If anyone else happens to be coming out this way, please get in touch and I'd be delighted to show you some of my favourite spots.
I did have you winning for most of the time I was composing my message, HD, so don't feel too bad about it. I was putting Jonathan in second just because 'landscapes aren't my thing'. When I realized I was doing that, I changed my mind. Anyway, lots of great shots. Keep 'em coming.
I hope what I said wasn't taken wrong, it wasn't meant negative.
Congrats Jonathan! Great set of images this week!
