My first macro attempt....just acquired a used 180mm f/3.5L Macro.
This is a withered Iris bloom, hand held in mnaul mode with 1D MKIV, ISO 1000, f/6.3, 1/100

Joel, How are you liking the 180. My boss was a medical photographer and swears by this lens---
I have only had it for 2 days so very limited experience so far but it seems very nice, it is sharp and the working distance is very comfortable.Quote:

I like that you can use teleconverters with it as well as extension tubes. You cannot use a teleconverter with the 100mm macro unless you put an extension tube on it first. Also like the included tripod collar.
Have no negatives so far.
