    Joel, How are you liking the 180. My boss was a medical photographer and swears by this lens---

    I have only had it for 2 days so very limited experience so far but it seems very nice, it is sharp and the working distance is very comfortable.

    It's not easy to get sharp images hand held due to narrow DOF, probably true with all macro lenses though, more experience might help

    I like that you can use teleconverters with it as well as extension tubes. You cannot use a teleconverter with the 100mm macro unless you put an extension tube on it first. Also like the included tripod collar.

    Have no negatives so far.

    Here are a couple dandelions. Forgot the spray bottle for the added water effect, but only had a little time and it was windy. I have a couple more on my blog.
