Being the poor college student that I am, I do what I can to find new ways to improvise. Today's "studio lighting" was sun shining through the front windows of my house. Editing done in Lightroom 3....
Yeah, moving + new job + starting school back = not much time for photography, thank goodness I've been able to get out again the last two weeks!

I think the issue might be the direction the boat is facing, I think the nose of the boat leads your eyes out of the frame. If somehow you could put the boat in the bottom right corner of the frame...
