    Hey thanks! At winter solstice the sun lines up nicely with this creek, so I was hoping to get a half-decent sunrise shot. But it took a while for the conditions to come together, because we were either socked in with clouds, or had clear skies (and -30 C deep freeze). In spite of the cold, the creek never freezes over because of the groundwater source. We had a bit of wind that morning so I lengthened the shutter speed as much as possible to smooth the water a bit. This location is right off Main Street in Canmore, believe it or not. So I'm admitting full unfair advantage here

    Ummm....mine was taken from my front lawn....so...you definitely worked a bit harder for your shot

    I think mine may be a solid entry in the category of "You did not even put your shoes on" Ok, technically I keep slippers at the front door to take our dog out and used those...but, not shoes. No laces were involved.
