His first thought: "Phew, she only found three cameras!"

I get stuck the other way, as my woman also shoots Canon. I bought a 7D in February with the thought that it'd become hers next year when I get a 1D4. I want a 24-70, but know that I can't sell my 24-105 to get it as she wants the 24-105. I want some super-telephoto glass, but know that I have to get us a second wide-angle (thankfully I've talked her into the 10-22 for now instead of the 14L) and a second telephoto (at least the 70-200/4IS is far cheaper than the 70-200/2.8IS, but I really wanted to get the 70-200/2.8IS II and give her the I) first. At least she doesn't like carrying heavy lenses, so I won't have to buy two of each as I move into 24-70 and the white primes.

You've got a good woman there Peety. Hang on to her!
