Yep, your right John. Helps to read the entire post. Sorry about that. [:$] I have a bunch of 58mm lenses also, but haven't looked at the step up rings for that before. Glad you asked the question Denise or I would have been searching everywhere in the coming months also.

I have yet to see much difference in binding with my Heliopan or my B&W filters compared to the cheap ones, the old filter wrench still comes out occasionally. It just might be that the aluminum filter threads on the front of a lens cancels any or most of the advantage of brass. At any rate I prefer the B&W and Heliopan filters.
