This will be my submission for now, but I hope to shoot something new for this assignment.

Yep, me too. Did you take that with a Zeiss 35/1.4 and not a 100L?

Not sure which I want to be my submission, <edit: I think i'll enter number 2, the pyramid>.
The first shot is my first Book Cover (book's coming out next year). It's about a group of drunken poets, hence the wine glass. Took it with a nifty fifty one night and the publishers liked it for the cover (kind of helps when my GF wrote the book), low-DOF and crap-lighting intentional. This is just a shrunken version of the camera-jpg, not sure how they edited it for the book (I gave them a few options of raw-converted tiffs but also the rawfile).

I'm also tempted to put this one in, one of the first shots with the Single Glass optic for my Lensbaby when I got it, at a place called Crazy Pianos.
Strangely enough, I've seen this sight in a pub before, but without the aid of a lensbaby, just booze.

ps, @Jan, I'll definitely second that Hertog Jan is the best, although have you tried the Hob Goblin? Only place I know that definitely has it is the North End english pub in Leiden, I might have seen in somewhere in Den Haag of Scheveningen ook.

HAHA. I don't know if I've ever heard of it. This would be my favorite of the three.

In northern Utah. This is the same spot where hundreds of bald eagles can be found in February.
