Jonathan - Beuatiful birds and nice shots... they sure do seem to like sitting on top of power poles.

I am a bit envious. I used to be able to find them around our house during the winter pretty easily, but last year they seemed to quit coming around here. Last year I did not see any, and this year I have only seen one (but that was on the other side of the county). I wish they would come back to the area.

Thanks, Pat --- they sure are wonderful. Sometimes I'm not so lucky... there are times I've been out for hours and not seen anything at all. Do you know about the eBird range maps? Have a look: http://ebird.org/ebird/map/snoowl1?b...=2007&eyr=2011 You might find a snowy owl hot spot near you!

    Happy shooting -

    Happy shooting -
Thank you Jonathan. I checked out the link, and the only sightings around here are about 30 miles away (same place I had seen one last month). I will keep looking.

That is a nice web site though. I think I will check out a few other birds on it also (such as eagles).
