@Dave, Out of curiosity, why such a fast aperture and shutter speed? Obviously you had a ton of light. Your DoF gets the chicken in-focus, why not bring it to f/5.6 or f/8?

To be honest, I was just inside the building a few seconds prior and that shot of the chicken was kind of an impromptu portrait, If I thought about it, I probably would have narrowed it down more.

Hi Dave - heck of a shot for the totally wrong f/#. I don't know if a smaller aperture would have made it any better. Just thinking that's what I would have set it at. Of course, I've never walked outside a dark building and forgotten to adjust my settings - at least not since this afternoon.
