Actually, I have seen the 300mm selling between $4,500 and $5,200 and the 500mm selling between $6,200 and $6,900. You might be able to keep the 1D III. I am thinking about selling the 300mm as well to help fund the upgrade, but what I should do is sell the 16-35mm II and add a few dollars for the remainder.
