Went down to PA for a 2-day meeting this week, at a location about 45 minutes north of Philadelphia. On Wednesday night, I drove into Philly intending to take some nighttime city shots of buildings, the skyline, etc. I was surprised to see a complex searchlight display over the city when I got there at around 10 pm. Turns out it was the final testing for Open Air Philadelphia, an interactive art exhibit running 9/20 - 10/14.

No, just f/8 and a long exposure.

Thanks, Pat. It was very cool. One of those places you visit and come back with 300 pics to sort through.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! This shot is awesome, John! Looks like even the weather cooperated ...the lights look gorgeous against a clear sky!
