Hi all -
I've been away this past week, on a wildlife photography workshop in Jasper National Park. I was part of a small group of people being guided by John Marriott, Canada's premier wildlife photographer. I learned a huge amount, and came away with a few keepers too. Here's a sampling:
Monster-sized bull elk, in the middle of the woods (I was 20 metres away, trying desperately not to shake).
"None shall pass!" 500 mm lens with 1.4 TC
Soaking up the sun. 70-200 mm lens at f/5.6
A gorgeous white ptarmigan. This one took a huge amount of work, as we had to wade through hip-deep snow to get close enough.
Bald eagle on a very favourable perch.
