1D MK IV or wait?

I also would not hesitate to get a used 1D with 77k clicks. As for the 17-40 on a 1D, I would also recommend. I have two 24-105's.

Beautiful photo, lovely colour, does the distortion sometimes seem too much to cope with? I'd love to get a 24-70, or 24-105, but the extra money on top of the camera is just too much at the moment. I think with the equipment I've already got the 17-40 is my best bet for the time being. I just want something wide that i can walk around with, coupled with my 50mm, and the 70-200. i think my next purchase will be a 35mm after that, and EVENTUALLY a 400 2.8! ah but the list goes on and on and ON! haha

Thanks. That was taken in Alaska. The distortion seems too much sometimes on my 5D but not on my 1D. I prefer my 24-105 for my walk around but the 17-40 on a 1D also makes a good walk around lens.
