From what I have read, and seen in a few posts here: There is a significant improvement with the 2X III vs. the 2X II. However, there is only a marginal improvement with the 1.4X III vs. the 1.4X II.

Correct in terms of IQ. The MkIII TCs can have improved AF performance, but that only applies to use with the MkII supertele lenses.Originally Posted by conropl
