Great shots, Brant. I went looking for eagles today and the only one I saw was so far away that my center AF point covered him completely. I spent some quality time with a GBH, though. Not quite as interesting.

Mark....I know that feeling all too well. While my sister was "bummed" about only seeing 7-8...I was estatic. Far too often around here I see nothing to 1 or 2 way off.
This actually had me thinking....for the investment in gear...I may need to focus on the investment in putting myself in the right place at right time. In this case, Northern Idaho the first week of January for eagles.

Go as far as west as St Louis and there may be opportunities for bald eagles.
