Brant:
I really like the last one. I was surprised that you took that with the "M".
I was in a business trip in northern Indiana, so I took a quick ride up to St Joseph, MI to catch the sunset.

Nice shot Pat.
The "M" is a pretty darn capable camera. In terms of IQ, I liken it to the 7D, which isn't that surprising considering that they both have 18 MP cropped sensors. It's funny, but as a hobbiest, ultimate IQ isn't always the driving factor for me in my selection of gear. I enjoy the actual act of shooting with a dSLR more than I enjoy shooting with the M. Granted, I also like the benefits of FF over a crop sensor, lens selection, etc. Here, my wife and I were headed out to dinner, but I knew I would want a shot of the sunset behind Boston. Taking the 5DIII really wasn't an option so I took the "M". That is the niche it fills for me.
@Brant....took your wife out to eat? Where, Terminal A food court....what a romantic. LOL Seriously, that side of the airport has tremendous sunset views of BOS. I'm surprised at the 30 second shot w/out a filter....the M does a really nice job.
Ha.....yep...she gets her Sbarro, I get my Panda Express and we happily meet in the middle. That is how I make my marriage work, food court style
The shot was taken on a walk way by the Water Shuttle and Hyatt Harborside. My other favorite spot to photograph Boston is along the Charles River just down from the MIT campus.
