    wow . i wish i had that much reach. i doubt it would look that good on a crop sensor though lol.
    i take it that wasnt hand-held lol

    yes .... I was using a tripod but I have used the 500 + 2X TC hand held......very difficult due to the slow AF and only the center point being available
