    dsiegel...very nice White Ibis...I'm really not into shore birds, but I'd shoot this one. Nice composition...

    Joel.....another Pileated in the backyard....what's your secret? Needless to say; very well done.

    I have seen a pair of Pileated WP's for a long time but only after I had been feeding suet consistently for 3-4 years did they start regularly coming in and being comfortable enough to hang around for some images. So I guess extreme patience is my secret

    PS....I am still amazed you get the HB body sharp with those ridiculous shutter speeds!

    I believe this to be a juvenile Brown Thrasher but I am not 100% certain....it's a new visitor to my set up. I took this very early this morning and it was cloudy as well so I needed high ISO and a slower shutter than I would like but this little guy held still for a few seconds. Please correct me if I am wrong on the ID.
