With a shutter speed of 8 seconds, the lights must have been pretty bright. You even managed some red. Really well done... I like the color reflection in the lake. Thanks for the information, and thanks for sharing.

Sorry to disrupt the competition with my comments. But then again, I think there needs to be more interaction and learning about what went into a shot. This is a good example: I would not have guessed an 8 second exposure (I was guessing another stop or two higher). Given my experience of night sky shooting, the exposure level gives me a better appreciation as to how bright the sky actually was when this was taken.
