I bought the upgrade but I'm hard pressed to notice any speed difference, even with my compatible graphics chip. It's probably faster than LR5, but I have to confess that the real reason I upgraded is because I can't stand to have something that is not the latest-and-greatest (whether I need it or not). It's a hopeless affliction that I think more than a few of you can relate to....
