Did you do some PP around the eyes of the goose? I have never seen one with psycho eyes like that before. I think it is because the outer rim stands out so much.

Thanks Pat. You should head on over in about a month, the chicks should be out.
As for the goose's eyes, I think what you are seeing is almost an odd natural catch light. I didn't do anything in post, but zooming in to 100%, it looks like the sun went behind a small cloud and that is being reflected in the goose's eye.
