Awesome shots, I've never seen a Whale breach before, but I used to fish off Long Beach California and had them come up and spout quite often. Nothing can shock quite like a whale spouting just 10 feet from your 12' aluminum boat when your not looking!!

Thanks. I had only seen a whale breach from really far away about 10 years ago. This summer I've been lucky enough to be around three different whales breaching at different times. Just luck.Originally Posted by Lumens

I can't even imagine being in a 12' boat and having one of these monsters surface 10 ft away. Crazy....
