I want my 7D now!

Yes yes, everywhere price matches. I think my biggest problem is that I'm not used to making such huge purchases. I'm okay with paying 2k for a camera and 1k for a lense but I just can't get over having to pay $400 of TAX!!! I will have to suck it up though...nothing else I can do about it.


I was actually considering the 24-105mm 4L, but I really like larger apertures, they do more for me than a f/4.0 would. I also don't think I need an L lense...which leads me to wonder why in the WORLD my 17-55 costs so much and its not even an L lense!!! I think i was offered 1099 on the 24-105 -_____--;;

Also consider that it's not only the ghost living inside the 7D, but thereis also the fact that several 7D cameras can't control wireless slave flashes properly. Not as well known as the ghost problem, but much more detrimental to the images.
