Sean - Very nice product shot! Did you use white paper again or a tent? Either way, maybe I should contact you the next time I

I used a white piece of copy paper...and a monolight with a softbox on it. And, as a side note, someone bought the lens at my Buy It Now price 20 minutes after posting it. A good photo makes all the difference. ;-)

I know this was just posted as my example of the Shadow assignment but I thought I'd post it here since I just took the shot today. I played around with the settings in DPP by adjusting the color temp alittle and I changed the the picture style to twilgiht and I really liked how it turned out ...

Looks much better than the gray concrete of my patio that I placed it on to get the shadow effect!

<span style="font-size: small;"]Does processed recently count? I took the shots that I used to make this HDR composite in September when I was in Honolulu and just processed last week after another trip back to Waikiki didn't result in any better photos.

<div>Thank you so much for the kind words. It is really encouraging to get feedback on my photos. I spent the better part of today and yesterday going through about 2,000 pictures and posted a few more on my flickr if you want to check them out. </div>

<div>As for what else anyone could ask for, how about a nice collection of L lenses? []</div>

I purchased a used 1DmkIIN from KEH. This was my first shots. I love the performance of this camera.

Mark, that is a precious shot there. My wife's mum used to take care of kids and there was one little guy that LOVED elmo, but he couldn't say his name. He called him Melmo. So that was always funny.

Here are some shots from today and last night. Gone crazy playing with my new 28 1.8, but a long way to go for proficiency.

    Some nice shots here guys.

Mark that expression is priceless, what joy, great shot.

Clemm, nice action shots with the new rig. Congratz.

Dave great framing on the portraits, like the light on the second one, that bit of grass beside her shoulder is annoying, it sort of points away from her. But lovely smile on your model and nice angle of the shoulders, good job.
