<p class="MsoNoSpacing"]Currently, I am using a 1D III for commercial use (and
sometimes a 5D).<span> I am trying to decide
on the next purchase, either a 1Ds III or 5D MKII.<span> I have read many reviews for each body.<span> There is an assignment coming up that will
require a higher resolution camera.<span>
Outside of the typical reviews, please provide some real world input (likes
and dislikes).<span> The assignment could require
a body as robust as the 1Ds, but I am not aware of all shooting conditions yet.<span> Also, please provide input as to where gently
used 1Ds’s can be obtained it needed.<span>

I have no experience with these two cameras but I would pick the 1Ds mkIII for the weather sealing and auto focus. KEH has several in like new or excelent condition. 1Ds mkIII. I have found KEH to be honest and trustworthy.

Great point - the weather sealing is important. The weather sealing on the 1D III that I have has come in handy on more than one occasion. Thank you for info on KEH! I had no idea they existed.

Don't forget to ask them how many shutter actuations the camera has befor you buy.
