I really like the images and the concept! The only problem I have is the amount of work my eyes and brain need to do to separate the bird from the very similar colors and patterns in the background. Then again, it's likely a raptor flying overhead would have the same problem - and I suppose that's the point! [:P]

I agree there is a lot going on with those pictures in terms of having a very busy background. I was sitting in the car looking down on them. No chance to get out and attempt a shot at their level due to all the water. Thanks for the comments. This little guy was very quickly jumping from spot to spot and this was a burst from my new camera (7D). By the way, it is awesome!
