My 85mm f/1.2 L lens came today. It's a glorious beast of a lens. I was able to get sharp shots after a few shots. It's not as heavy as I thought. It feels lighter than my 24-70mm. Can anyone here with the lens offer any shooting tips for this lens?

Seriously, do you have any specific problems? The challenging part about this lens is obtaining critical focus when shooting wide open an maybe the slower AF.
I don't have the lens, but there's a general rule around here that's been put up by Sean:
RULE#1: always take photos of beautiful girls
Live by that rule and you'll be just fine and we'll love your photos even if they are technically absolutely incorrect [:P]
Have fun with your lens mate []
Congrats! It's a great lens - I'm certainly enjoying mine.
Only tip I'd offer, if you're not already doing so, is to manually select your AF point. At wide apertures (thin DoF), focus/recompose will give you OOF shots.
Hapy shooting!
