First macro shots
Hello all,
I just got the 100L Macro in time for spring (actually here in Wisconsin, "spring" is a figment of our imagination; it hailed an inch today - seriously).
Here's the best of my first macro exposures, which I took of our lone crocus patch after my kids decided it needed water.
ISO 800, f/11, 1/125s on a 7D, handheld.

C&C welcome. I know the shadows aren't ideal. I guess a ring flash is in my future...
Also, any recommendations for good macro photography reading? I read Bryan Peterson's Understanding Close Up Photography, which I found enjoyable and informative.
Thanks!
