    Smile next lens for canon 400D after 18-55mm

    I have Canon 400D digital camera with 18-55mm lens. Can I go for tamron 28-300mm lens?
    I am not a professional photographer. My knowledge in photography is very basic.
    My interest is in landscape and portrait. Can you please suggest me good lens.
    Because 18-55mm is limits the zoom I need something good for zooming also.
    My budget is up to $350.
