    2015 - Image of the Week: #27

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

There will be only one weekly winner.

    • This entry period for Week 27 will be from Monday June 29th through/including Sunday July 5th
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by Dave Throgmartin

    Good luck!!

So I have at long last made it through the images from the last trip shortly before the next one. Good timing. A view across the St. Lawrence towards Riviere du Loup from St. Simeon.

    "Corn"
Story behind the shot. The wildfires from Canada are still causing smoke and haze in our area which makes for some pretty cool sun and moon photos. Still processing things. This shot is from a cornfield with my new Rokinon 14mm @ f/11.

A family of these has taken up residence in an old woodpile behind our home....turns out they love sunflower seeds!

Don't be deceived by the chipmunk. They can do a lot of damage to your doors if you start feeding them and then have the nerve to go away on holidays.

I was lucky enough to have a loon take off almost straight at me. My settings were for taking pictures of sitting loons, and not B (almost) IF...but...

I'm not feeding directly but they are cleaning up around my bird feeder for now. Sounds like you had some bad experience in the past?
