I purchased the 16" M4 though B&H - same price and maybe Brian/TDP gets a piece. I want to transfer my 2 ish T 'worthwhile pics' from my mechanical external to a new 4 or 5 T SSD. The mechanicals have bit locker installed and I don't want to carry it over to the SSD. Thoughts on transfer process?

I think you'd need something like this to access a Bitlocker drive from a Mac: https://iboysoft.com/bitlocker-for-mac/ but I have no experience with it.

I've got a small stack of the Samsung T7 SSDs (4 TB and 2 TB) and they work very well.
