Hi Jonathan,

I know buffer is one of the issues you have had with the R5. Here is a detailed assessment of the R1 / R5 II's buffer.

He did not quantify it, but did observe that the rate the buffer was cleared was faster with the CFe 4.0 cards than CFe 2.0 cards. In his test, something like 80 extra frames.

Right now my general plan is to max out at 20 fps as 1,362 frames at 20 fps is 68 seconds of continuous shooting. 30 fps it is 12 seconds, granted, I am unlikely to hit either, but still, nice to eliminate buffer as a concern. In actually, right now I am alternating between 7.5 fps (half press AF on button) and 15 fps (full press AF on button).
