    Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS +1.4X

    I found this link over at CR. Below is an excerpt from the article.

    "The plan is to release it this year, said Mike Owen, communications manager for Canon's professional imaging department in Europe. He spoke at a Canon press conference yesterday at the Photokina show here."

    It's going to be a bit heavier than the 400mm f/2.8L IS II.

    Even if its released next year would be cool, but at least they're talking about it again.

    Did you check the News section on TDP? It was actually posted there before CR. :-)

    Why would anyone check TDP for rumor's and hearsay. You only find accurate factual information here.

    Yes, it's absolutely a definite maybe. But, I'll take it and at least they're acknowledging that it exists.

    It sounds heavy though!
